It’s always fun to work with the Lane County Fair. Here are a few samples from this year’s marketing campaign of TV, digital video, traditional & digital billboards, radio, Spotify, social banners, and street banners.
Our plan for a big event like the Lane County Fair is to be everywhere for a few short weeks which requires a large creative and production library. TV ads need to be formatted for digital media like Facebook and YouTube. Billboards are designed to many different sizes for vinyl and digital format. Radio ads are different lengths for traditional radio versus Spotify radio, plus producing Spanish language versions. Many sizes of internet and social banners are required.
This year we introduced daily radio updates so custom tags were written, produced, and delivered to the stations every day during fair week promoting each day’s entertainment and special events. All of the media and creative elements stacked up well, and this year’s attendance was beyond expectations.
Kudos to Creative Director Veronica Nelson for her work creating the marketing campaign and designing all of the assets. Thanks to our production partners Attic Media, Glenn Nobel, and FastSigns of Eugene.
And of course, the most experienced and knowledgeable media planner around, Scott Hettick hunted down the right billboards, built powerful broadcast advertising schedules, and negotiated lots of add-value extras.
