In 2008 we helped Oregon Urology Institute do the VERY FIRST vasectomy promotion during March basketball tournaments on a small sports-talk radio station in Oregon that started a trend that has turned March into Vasectomy Month. Terry FitzPatrick from Oregon Urology Institute spent the better part of several days being interviewed by everyone from NPR to Dan Patrick.
Many others have copied the concept, but here’s this year’s radio ad from the originators of the promotion. Quite frankly, SNIP CITY is likely to go down in history as the most famous marketing concept we’ve ever developed and continue to create ads for every year.
